Window

A noncanonical presentation term. It may be used informally to describe a runtime's
movable, resizable, focusable rendering of an Object on Carry (or of another interface
structure).

A window is not a layer, not a Placement type, and not an Object type.

Elonn has exactly two layers — Carry and Field — and the recognized Placement types are
carry and field only (see [layout.md](../canonical/layout.md)). "Window" names how a
runtime chooses to present an Object placed on Carry: as a rectangular container it can
move, resize, collapse, and close. That choice is presentation, not placement.

Code must not depend on "window" as an architectural concept. Existing uses of the term
in code are to be evaluated individually and replaced where they incorrectly assign
architectural meaning to it. "Workspace" is not a replacement for "window".

Allowed (informal presentation prose only):
- window
- [name] window (e.g., map window, chat window)
- floating window

Forbidden:
- window as a layer
- window as a Placement type ("window Placement", type: "window")
- window as an Object type
- window "mode" (dashboard / object)
- window as a synonym for card or object

Notes:
- An Object opened on Carry has required presentation behavior (a title bar with back /
collapse / close, and a content area) and required in-Object navigation behavior — both
defined by layout.md. A runtime may render that as a window; the behavior is canonical,
the window shape is not.
- Navigation history belongs to the Object, not to a "window". world.back acts on an
Object id.
