Surface Object

Status note (2026-07-19): see [surface](surface.md) — this concept applies to
Android, iPad, and Cardboard, which still carry content through Surfaces. Web
no longer has Surfaces or Surface Objects since the 2026-07-17 World/Mind
rebuild; it renders Objects, Resources, and Actions directly from the canonical
World Dataset.

Normalized, runtime-safe content carried by a Surface.

Surface Objects preserve content, meaning, provenance, branding, and
presentation intent without preserving browser implementation. They may contain
structured text, approved asset URLs, actions, and non-authoritative runtime
hints. They never contain arbitrary HTML, CSS, or executable JavaScript.

A Finding is a candidate. A Surface Object is consumable runtime content.
